Moravian College is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Title IX with a free sports clinic for girls in grades K-8 on Saturday, January 26th. Come out for a day fo fun! Various sports will be played throughout the afternoon.

Schedule of Events:

January 21 – Badminton Tournament

January 22 and 23 – HUB promotional activities from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kiosk

January 23 – Women’s basketball game, 7 p.m., information table and announcements

January 24 – Luncheon in UBC room, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.; invited student athletes, coaches and guests

January 24 – Keynote Lecture in Prosser, 7 – 8:30 p.m.; open to the public (sponsored by Arts and Lectures Committee, Women’s Studies, Institutional Diversity, AAUW); guest speakers: Dr. Margaret McMenamin, Union County College President and  Mrs. Chris Jackson, former professor/coach at Moravian College and retired professor/coach at College of William and Mary

January 26 – Girls Sports Clinic in ARC, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.; women’s teams will be running free clinic for girls kindergarten through 8th grade – register on line, visit http://moraviansports.com/information/camps/TitleIX/Index
