Directions to Moravian College
Although GPSs and services such as MapQuest offer exceptional guidance in reaching unexplored destinations, we highly encourage you to follow the directions below because we feel that they will help provide not only the simplest method of reaching campus, but that this route also optimizes your Moravian Experience.
From the north: I-81 South to I-380 South to I-80 East. Take exit 302 A off I-80 onto Route 33 South. Follow Route 33 to Route 22 West into Bethlehem. To continue, see directions from Route 22 below.
From the south: Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-476 north) to Lehigh Valley exit 56. Follow 22 East to Center Street (Route 512). To continue, see directions from Route 22 below.
From the east: I-78 West to exit 71; Route 33 North to 22 West; West on Route 22 into Bethlehem. To continue, see directions from Route 22 below. Or take 80 West to exit 304. Follow Route 33 South to Route 22 West in Bethlehem. To continue, see directions from Route 22.
From the west: I-78 East to exit 51; Route 22 East into Bethlehem. To continue, see directions from Route 22 below.
From Route 22: Exit at Center Street (Route 512); turn left off the exit ramp. Travel south for 2.4 miles and turn right onto Elizabeth Avenue at traffic light. Turn left onto Main Street; turn left at the next corner onto Locust Street; turn right into the College parking lot (Lot M on campus map).
To the Priscilla Payne Hurd Campus (Historic Downtown Bethlehem)
From Route 22: Exit at Center Street (Route 512); turn left off the exit ramp. Travel south for 2.4 miles and turn right onto Elizabeth Avenue at traffic light. Turn left onto Main Street and continue 1 mile into historic downtown Bethlehem and turn left on Church Street; turn left into parking lot (Lot U on campus map)
To the Steel Athletic Complex (Football – Calvo
Field; Track – Breidegam Track; Tennis – Hoffman
Courts; Softball – Blue & Grey Field; Baseball –
Gillespie Field)
*PLEASE NOTE: There is limited parking lot
space for this area; anticipate having to park on the surrounding
streets*
From Route 22: Exit at Center Street (Route 512); turn left off the exit ramp……
For Football & Track
Continue south on Center Street (just under 2 miles)
to the traffic light at Washington St; turn right onto Washington
and go to the third street (New St) and turn left; go to
the 1st traffic light (Elizabeth Ave) and turn left; buses for
visiting football and track teams will unload at the Elizabeth Ave.

For Softball; Tennis; Baseball
Continue south 2.4 miles to the traffic light at
Elizabeth Avenue. At this intersection, you will be at the
Steel Field Athletics Complex. Turn left and go one block to
Grenadier Blvd. and turn right; go to the end of Grenadier and turn
right onto Fairview St. Go one block and turn right onto Center St
(Center St is one way north). Buses should travel on Center
St to the tennis courts take the first available spot, park and
unload the bus. If parking is not available in this area,
buses will be directed to park at a different location after they
have unloaded
To Athletic venues on Main Campus (Johnston Hall –
Basketball & Volleyball; Quad Field – Soccer; Betty
Prince Field – Field Hockey; Breidegam Field House –
Indoor Track & Indoor Tennis)
*PLEASE NOTE: Parking
for spectators is limited in this area; there is a small lot (Lot F
on the campus map) at the rear of Johnston Hall; anticipate having
to park on surrounding streets*
From Route 22: Exit at Center Street (Route 512); turn left off the exit ramp. Travel south for 2.4 miles and turn right onto Elizabeth Avenue at traffic light…
For Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Indoor Track,
Indoor Tennis:
At above intersection, turn right onto Elizabeth Avenue.
Proceed to the 2nd traffic light (Main St) and turn left. Go
one block to Locust St and turn right into the main entrance to
campus. Continue on Locust one block across the sidewalk
intersection and continue to the front of Johnston Hall and next to
the Quad Field to park (THIS IS FOR TEAM BUS PARKING ONLY –
NO SPECTATOR PARKING)
For Field Hockey:
After turning onto Elizabeth Ave, continue through two traffic
lights and then down a steep hill. Betty Prince Field is at
the bottom of the hill; turn left at the stop sign for parking
Arriving by Bus or Air
Three bus companies--Greyhound, Trans Bridge, and Bieber--provide passenger service to the Bethlehem Bus Terminal one mile from campus at Adams and Mechanic Streets on the south side of Bethlehem.
The Lehigh Valley International Airport is a 15-minute drive from campus. It is served by several national and regional airlines.
