Sophomore Andrea Eck Ranked in NCAA Field Hockey Statistics
Sophomore goalie Andrea Eck of the Moravian College field hockey team is ranked in the latest NCAA Division III Field Hockey Statistics released Tuesday.
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Sophomore goalie Andrea Eck (Catasauqua, Pa./Catasauqua) of the Moravian College field hockey team is ranked in the latest NCAA Division III Field Hockey Statistics released Tuesday. Eck is ranked 34th in the nation with a 1.44 goals against average.
Eck has been a brick wall of late, not allowing a goal in her past 160:34 minutes of play, and she has only allowed one goal in her last 262:35 minutes played.
Eck is 9-6 on the season and needs only one more win to tie the school-record for most wins in a season. She also has four shutouts this season and, two combined shutouts with teammate Catherine Gottlieb. She has made 77 saves, good for a .786 save percentage.
As a team the Greyhounds are ranked 17th in shutouts per game at 0.40, 30th in save percentage with a .802 and 32nd in goals against average with a 1.37.
Moravian returns to action today, October 25th against rival Muhlenberg College at Betty Prince Field at 3:30 p.m.
