Bill Ferguson is in his second year as an assistant track & field coach with the Moravian College program in 2017-18. Ferguson came to Moravian after two years as Graduate Assistant Coach for Springfield College while working towards the completion of his Master's in Athletic Administration. He was responsible for coaching high jumpers, hurdles and combined event athletes, and Ferguson coaches one NEWMAC Champion in high jump, multiple DIII qualifiers in high jump, hurdles & pentathlon, multiple ECAC qualifiers in high jump, hurdles and pentathlon.
Ferguson competed for Springfield for four years in high jump, hurdles and decathlon, and he served as a two-year captain. He was on the All-ECAC team in high jump 2011 & 2012, and Ferguson was a three-year qualifier for DIII New England Championships in high jump. He graduated from Springfield in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Movement and Sports Studies with a minor in coaching.
