DANBURY, Conn. --- Moravian College freshman midfielder Liz Bill has been honored as the ECAC Division III South Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week for her performance last week.
Bill, who earned her second ECAC honor of the season, helped Moravian to a 1-1 record last week with nine goals, an assist, eight ground balls, nine draw controls and three caused turnovers. She had five goals, seven draw controls, four ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 15-14 non-conference loss at Neumann University. Bill then had four goals, an assist, four ground balls and a pair draw controls in a 17-4 win at Goucher College to end the regular season with the Greyhounds' first-ever Landmark Conference victory to finish the regular season with a 7-8 mark.
"I'm thrilled to see Liz receive rookie of the week honors after her performance to close out our regular season," commented Head Coach Kristen Nicholson. "Liz is a player that steps up when we need her to. This last week she played with such determination, I'm excited to see her reach her full potential for the future."
