152 Greyhounds Earn Dean's List Honors for Spring 2018

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College Department of Athletics and Recreation had 152 of its student-athletes receive Dean’s List honors from the College for achieving a 3.50 or higher grade-point average during the 2018 Spring semester.

TOWSON, Md. --- The Moravian College baseball team has had four players junior pitcher Rhett Jacoby, junior third baseman Evan Kulig, junior center fielder Austin Markowski and sophomore second baseman Ian Csencsits named to the 2018 Landmark Baseball All-Conference First Team with Jacoby also being honored as the Landmark Conference Pitcher of the Year.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College honored its 2018 senior student-athletes at the annual Senior Athletics Awards Banquet Wednesday night in Johnston Hall. Javelin national champion Mary Kate Duncan and softball standout Josie Novak were named the Co-Outstanding Senior Female Athletes while golfer Tyler Smith was honored with the Outstanding Senior Male Athlete award. The Blue & Grey Scholar Athlete awards were presented to women’s soccer student-athlete Lauren Bertucci and baseball player Nicholas Mazzella. The H.T.D. Gillespie Award for outstanding service to Moravian's athletics program was presented to Ed Little.

SCRANTON, Pa. --- The Moravian College baseball team dropped a pair of Landmark Conference contests at the University of Scranton Sunday, falling 15-8 in a game halted on Saturday after one inning, and dropping the series finale, 11-10 in 11 innings.
