Knox Named Landmark Conference Field Hockey Defensive Athlete of the Week
TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University senior goalie Jessica Knox has been named the Landmark Conference Field Hockey Defensive Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.
TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University senior goalie Jessica Knox has been named the Landmark Conference Field Hockey Defensive Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.
Knox recorded ten saves in a 1-0 win at Wilkes University on Saturday in the first start of her career that also resulted in her first career win and shutout.
"We are proud of Jess for earning Defensive Player of the Week in her first career start," stated Head Coach Sarah Dalrymple. "She's worked incredibly hard over her time at Moravian."
The Hounds are slated to close out the 2025 season on Wednesday, October 29 in a Landmark Conference match versus Elizabethtown College beginning at 7:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
