TOWSON, Md. --- Freshman Zach Miller and sophomore Austin Fulton earned spots on the 2026 Landmark All-Conference Teams after finishing in the top 16 at the Landmark Conference Championships this past weekend with Miller earning Rookie of the Year honors.
The duo helped the Greyhounds finish as the runner-up at the 2026 Landmark Conference Championships on April 25-26 at the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort, and the second place finish is the best for the Hounds in the history of the Landmark Conference. Due to ties, the top seven individual finishers were named to the All-Conference First Team while those finishing eighth through ninth were named to the Second Team and 12th through 16th selected as Honorable Mention.
Miller, who made the All-Conference First Team and became Moravian’s second Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year and first since TJ Bohl in 2022, shot a three over par at 147 to place fifth of the 50 golfers. Miller carded a three-over par opening round of 75 on Saturday with four birdies and ten pars, and he shot an even par round of 72 on Sunday as Miller carded four birdies and 11 pars.
“Zach led our team in scoring average the entire season and he only got better as the year progressed,” stated Director of Golf Noah Kandt. “His love for the game of golf and his drive to be the best he can be is infectious to the rest of the team. Zach is already an incredible talent, but as just a freshman, his future is very bright. Him winning Newcomer of the Year and 1st Team All-Conference is fitting for the player he is and the year he had.”
Fulton earned his first career Landmark All-Conference Team accolade after finishing in a tie for ninth at 153 to make the All-Conference Second Team. Fulton had rounds of 77 and 76 over the two days while recording two birdies and 24 pars in his 36 holes. Fulton improved 16 spots this spring after finishing tied for 27th as a freshman with a 162 at the conference tournament last April.
“Austin was a stalwart of consistency for us the entire season,” Kandt said. “In many ways he was the rock of our program on and off the course. He is someone who tirelessly works on his game to get the most out of it every single time he plays. As just a sophomore, he is already a tremendous leader and someone who has a very exciting career ahead of him. His play throughout the year and the way he finished his season set him up for a well-deserved All-Conference recognition.”
