TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University senior wide receiver Jordan Bingham has been honored as the Landmark Conference Football Offensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University senior wide receiver Jordan Bingham has been honored as the Landmark Conference Football Offensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
Bingham hauled in seven receptions for 85 yards with the first two touchdowns of his Moravian career in the Hounds' 35-20 setback at Utica (N.Y.) University. Bingham's scoring reception of 12 yards handed the Blue & Grey an early 6-0 lead in the first quarter, and his one-yard TD catch on a fourth down play cut the game to a 21-20 Utica lead early in the fourth quarter. Bingham returned one kickoff for 18 yards on the afternoon.

The Greyhounds are set to play The Apprentice School (Va.) on Saturday, September 16 in Moravian's 2023 home opener. Kickoff is slated for 1:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field on Gary Martell Day as the Hounds honor Martell for 50 years with the Moravian program as a student-athlete and coach at halftime.
