Moravian Field Hockey Begins 2021 Campaign on the Road on September 1
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University field hockey squad is set to open the 2021 season on Wednesday, September 1 with a non-conference match at DeSales University beginning at 6:00 p.m., the first of eight matches that will be played under the lights in 2021.

The Greyhounds will play on the road again on September 4 with a trip to Misericordia University before finally making their home debut on September 8 versus Immaculata University under the lights on John Makuvek Field at 7:00 p.m. Moravian heads back on the road for a match at Neumann University on September 11 before another night match on Makuvek Field versus Alvernia University on September 14. The Hounds will be the first Moravian squad to play a Landmark Conference contest in 2021 when the team welcomes The Catholic University of America to Makuvek Field on September 18 for a 12:00 p.m. match. The Hounds then finish the month of September with road trips to Cedar Crest College on September 22 and King's College on September 28.
October will feature eight matches for Moravian with six being Landmark Conference contests and five being played on Makuvek Field. The month starts with a trip to Landmark Conference foe Goucher College on October 2. The Greyhounds then play three straight home contests including a non-conference match with Delaware Valley University on October 5 and Landmark Conference contests with Susquehanna University on October 9 and Elizabethtown College on October 9. The Hounds are scheduled to travel to Juniata College for a Landmark Conference match on October 16 before returning home to host The University of Scranton on October 23. Moravian's final home contest is a non-conference match-up with Ramapo College of New Jersey on October 27 before finishing the regular season at Drew University in a Landmark Conference match on October 30.
The Greyhounds look to qualify for the 2021 Landmark Conference Tournament that begins with the semifinals on Wednesday, November 3 and the finals slated for Saturday, November 6 at the highest remaining seeds' home field.
