Greyhounds Fall to DeSales to Begin 2023 Campaign

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. --- The Moravian University field hockey squad fell to host DeSales University, 4-0, in non-conference action Friday evening.

How It Happened

  • The Bulldogs opened the scoring in the sixth minute, and DeSales added another goal in the ninth minute to lead 2-0 after 15 minutes of action
  • DeSales would add a goal in the second quarter and one in the fourth quarter to finish the scoring
  • The Greyhounds' best opportunity to score came with a minute and a half to play when senior midfielder Sarah Bietka was stopped on a penalty stroke attempt
