TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University sophomore forward Marquis Ratcliff has been named the Landmark Conference Men’s Basketball Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University sophomore forward Marquis Ratcliff has been named the Landmark Conference Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
Ratcliff tossed in a career high 31 points to go with seven rebounds and a pair of steals in the Greyhounds' 77-64 win over Penn State Berks to begin the 2023-24 season. Ratcliff shot 12-for-15 from the floor, 1-for-2 beyond the three-point line and 6-for-7 at the foul line in the contest.
"Marquis did a great job starting off the season," stated Head Coach Darryl Keckler. "He found a way to score every time we needed him down the stretch."
The Greyhounds, who are 1-0 overall, are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, November 15 in a non-conference contest at rival Muhlenberg College with tip-off at 7:30 p.m. in Allentown.
