TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College junior goalie Kurt Dick has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College junior goalie Kurt Dick has been selected as the Landmark Conference Men's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
Dick helped Moravian earn the program's first-ever Landmark Conference victory with 15 saves and two ground balls in an 11-7 win over Drew University.
"Kurt is the ultimate team player, he comes to play every game at 100 percent," stated Head Coach Dave Carty. "He makes some incredible saves and keeps us in games. We allowed some 5-6 yard shots Saturday, and Kurt saved them without blinking an eye. He thinks he should make every save, and he can be a momentum changer."
The Hounds are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, April 18 in a Landmark Conference match at Elizabethtown College beginning at 4:00 p.m.
