Rain Washes Out Opening Day of Landmark Conference Softball Tournament Friday
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The weather won the opening day of the 2016 Landmark Conference Softball Tournament as host Moravian College and the Landmark Conference have postponed all games for Friday, May 6 at Blue & Grey Field due to the rain that is expected to last throughout the day.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The weather won the opening day of the 2016 Landmark Conference Softball Tournament as host Moravian College and the Landmark Conference have postponed all games for Friday, May 6 at Blue & Grey Field due to the rain that is expected to last throughout the day.
The top seed and host Greyhounds are now scheduled to take on fourth seeded The University of Scranton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 7 to begin the tournament. Second seed The Catholic University of America and third seed Susquehanna University will follow at 12:00 p.m. Saturday with the two winners scheduled to play at 2:00 p.m. and the first elimination game at 4:00 p.m. The tournament will now conclude on Sunday, May 8.
