Greyhounds to Begin 2024 Softball Slate at the NFCA DIII Leadoff Classic in March
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University softball team is slated to start its 2024 season on Friday, March 1 as the Greyhounds take part in the 2024 National Fastpitch Coaches Association Leadoff Classic in Columbus, Georgia.

The Hounds will play a total of six games over three days as the squad faced The College of St. Benedict (Minn.) and Concordia University Wisconsin on March 1, Central (Iowa) College and Babson (Mass.) College on March 2 and Bethel (Minn.) University and Chapman (Calif.) University on March 3.
Moravian returns to Pennsylvania and has three non-conference road doubleheaders to continue the 12-game road trip to start the season. The Blue & Grey are slated to travel to King's College on March 13, Ursinus College on March 16 and Lebanon Valley College on March 19. The Greyhounds will finally play at Blue & Grey Field as the team opens the 2024 Landmark Conference season with a doubleheader versus conference newcomer Wilkes University on March 23. The Hounds finish off the month of March by hosting Misericordia University on March 26 before a trip to the other new Landmark Conference member Lycoming College on March 30.
The Hounds have nine doubleheaders slated for the month of April with five being played at home. The squad will head to Drew University for a Landmark Conference doubleheader on April 3 before returning to Blue & Grey Field to host Susquehanna University on April 6 and Elizabethtown College on April 9 in Landmark Conference twinbills. The Blue & Grey make the longest conference road trip of the year when they travel to Juniata College on April 13, and the Greyhounds are set to host rival Muhlenberg College on April 18.
Moravian is slated to make the trip to The Catholic University of America for a Landmark Conference doubleheader on April 20. The Hounds then have their final two non-conference twinbills scheduled as the team hosts Arcadia University on April 23 and travels to Franklin & Marshall College on April 25. The Greyhounds are slated to finish the regular season and Landmark Conference schedule on April 27 when the team hosts The University of Scranton.
The 2024 Landmark Conference Tournament is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 7 with a play-in game between the fourth and fifth seed. The tournament will continue on Friday, May 10 at the highest seed, and the conference champion of the double elimination tournament will receive an automatic berth to the 2024 NCAA Division III Tournament.
