Allen Petros Earns a Spot on Centennial Conference Weekly Football Honor Roll
Senior defensive lineman Allen Petros of the Moravian College football team has been named to the Centennial Conference Weekly Football Honor Roll for his performance in the Greyhounds’ conference opener at McDaniel College on Saturday.
LANCASTER, Pa. --- Senior defensive lineman Allen Petros (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty HS) of the Moravian College football team has been named to the Centennial Conference Weekly Football Honor Roll for his performance in the Greyhounds' conference opener at McDaniel College on Saturday.
Petros became Moravian's all-time leader in career tackles for loss at 46.5 after a three tackle for loss performance in Moravian's 35-14 loss at McDaniel. Petros had a total of five tackles in the game with three for loss and one and a half sacks. Petros also moved to third in school history in sacks, now with 21.5 in his career.
Moravian will play its 2011 home opener on Saturday, September 17th versus Johns Hopkins University, kicking off at 2:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field in the annual Family Day game.
