Hounds Earn First Win under Easterday in Split of Landmark Conference Double Dual
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s swimming squad earned its first victory under the leadership of third-year Director of Swimming Matt Easterday with an 83-54 win over Lycoming University in Landmark Conference action at Liberty High School’s Memorial Pool Saturday while falling to Susquehanna University, 152-34, in the other half of the double dual meet.

How It Happened
- Freshman Charles Rumble captured the 1,000-yard freestyle with a personal best time of 10:43.85, and he was the runner-up in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:04.60
- Freshman Rory Jenkins was third in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 22.99 seconds, and he took fourth in 51.79 seconds
- Sophomore Alden Zimmerman finished third in the 200-yard medley with a time of 2:18.54, and he was third in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:35.84 and sixth in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 59.40 seconds
- Freshman Andrew Bulette took fourth in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 6:01.49, and he was sixth in the 50-yard freestyle at 25.34 seconds
- Sophomore Lukas Groller placed fifth in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2:14.0, and he was also fifth in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:37.74
- The quartet of Rumble, Jenkins, Bulette and Groller placed fourth in the 200-yard freestyle relay at 1:39.77
