Glass has had an outstanding career at Moravian. Over the last four years, she has helped the Greyhounds to seven Landmark Conference Championships, four indoors and three outdoors, while earning 15 Landmark Conference titles, eight individual and seven relays, and a total of 21 All-Conference honors. Glass owns four individual school records, two indoors in the 400-meter dash (57.62) and 500-meter dash (1:20.10) and two outdoors in the 200-meter dash in (24.81) and 400-meter dash (56.81), and she is part of three school record relays teams, the 4x200 indoors (1:43.81), the 4x200 outdoors (1:44.07) and the 4x400 outdoors (3:57.99). Glass has put her name all over the Moravian top 10 lists with 17 top 10 individual times and another 11 top 10 relay times.
"We knew we were extremely fortunate to get someone with Corinne's work ethic and athletic gifts to commit to us four years ago," stated Head Coach Jesse Baumann. "She was a tremendous talent out of high school, and she hasn't disappointed while here. Around mid-April last year she really started to become the runner we knew she could be, and she has been running at an exceptional level ever since."
Earlier this year, Glass was named the Landmark Conference Indoor Track Athlete of the Year after winning the 200-meter and 400-meter dashes and the 4x400-meter relay while helping the Greyhounds to their eighth straight Landmark Conference Indoor Championship in February. She was also the Landmark Conference Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year in 2015. This April, Glass ran a time 24.81 in the 200-meter dash, currently the 10th fastest time in all of NCAA Division III, and the top 22 individuals in each event will compete in the 2016 NCAA Division III National Championships in late May.
"She's been the Female Track Athlete of the Year at our last two conference meets," noted Baumann. "She won two events at Lafayette, Muhlenberg, and Lehigh's invites this spring. She's currently ranked #10 in the country in the 200, and when you see her daily in workouts, you just know she's running at a top level right now. We still don't think she's reached her full potential yet, so we can't wait to see what she can do this last month of the season."
Glass and the rest of her Moravian teammates look to win the program's eighth straight Landmark Conference Outdoor Championship this weekend at the 2016 meet being hosted by Juniata College on May 7-8.
