Hounds Place Fourth at Stockton Osprey Open
GALLOWAY, N.J. --- The Moravian University women’s cross country team placed fourth of 20 teams at the Stockton University Osprey Open Saturday on the course that will be used for the NCAA Division III Metro Regional later this season.

How It Happened
- The Hounds scored 127 points while NCAA Division I Seton Hall won the meet with a score of 24 points
- Junior Tara Smurla led the Greyhounds individually as she finished third of the 180 runners with a time of 22:44.10 on the 6,000-meter course
- Senior Rachael Goodman placed 19th with a time of 24:10.59 while senior Amber Poniktera was 30th at 24:35.14
- Rounding out the Greyhounds top five were sophomore Alexis Hockenberry in 37th with a time of 24:53.16 and sophomore Alyssa Hockenberry at 44th in 25:09.24
- Junior Meghan Myers finished 52nd overall in a time of 25:26.57 while senior Lexi Rushatz took 59th in 25:37.91 and sophomore Kayla O'Neil placed 90th in 26:40.94
