Men's Tennis Tops Juniata, 6-3

HUNTINGDON, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team evened its Landmark Conference record at 2-2 with a 6-3 victory over host Juniata College Monday on conference action.

The Eagles had a 2-1 lead after doubles action with Moravian's lone point coming from the tandem of seniors Kevin Holze and Doug Morrow with an 8-6 win at first doubles.

The Greyhounds would take the top five singles matches to earn the victory.  Holze moved into sole possession of third in the school record books with his 46th career singles win, a 6-3, 6-2 triumph at first singles while Morrow posted a 6-0, 6-3 win at second singles.  Senior Drew Shreter had a three-set win at third singles for Moravian while freshman Lewis Cooper also had a three-set win at fourth singles. Junior Brad Kutcha added a three-set victory at fifth singles to round out the victory for the Greyhounds.

Moravian will return to action on Wednesday, April 11 in a Landmark Conference match at The University of Scranton beginning at 3:30 p.m.
