Women's Cross Country Participates in Paul Short Run
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's cross country team finished 14th of 34 teams in the College Women's White Race of the 39th Annual Paul Short Run Presented by Brooks at Lehigh University Friday afternoon.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College women's cross country team finished 14th of 34 teams in the College Women's White Race of the 39th Annual Paul Short Run Presented by Brooks at Lehigh University Friday afternoon.
The Greyhounds scored 382 points to finish 14th while Washington & Lee (Va.) University won the race with 59 points. The Paul Short Run consists of four races, the Gold, Brown, White and Open, that cover the 6,000-meter course on Lehigh's Goodman Campus.
Sophomore Emily Lambright paced Moravian individually with a time of 24:59 on the 6K course to finish 49th of 281 runners in the women's White race. Sophomore Claire Del Casale was 54th in the race in a time of 25:04 while sophomore Jessie Goldberg took 88th in 26:06. Rounding out the Moravian runners were senior Emma Pacheco in 106th place in 26:29, junior Jennifer Parodi in 122nd place in 26:47 and sophomore Alyssa Tallon taking 191st in 28:50.
The Greyhounds will return to action on Saturday, October 6th at the Messiah College Invitational in Grantham.
