BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Senior Jason Koch from the Moravian University's men's golf squad has been honored as the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for his performance last week.
Koch won his second event of the year with a first-place finish at the 2025 Landmark Conference Championship this past weekend and having captured medalist honors at the two-day Landmark Fall Preview at Shawnee back in October. Koch was three under par at 141 to lead the 50 golfers by four strokes at the Championship. He shot a two-under par round of 70 on Sunday as Koch carded four birdies and 12 pars. In the opening round Saturday, Koch was in second place with a one-under par opening round of 71 that included four birdies and 11 pars. Koch repeated as a member of the Landmark All-Conference First Team, and he is the first Greyhound to earn Landmark Conference Player of the Year honors. Koch's individual title is the first for a Moravian golfer since Brian Bergstol '07 won the Commonwealth Conference title in back-to-back years in 2006 and 2007, ironically both won at Shawnee as well.
