Prajzner Honored as Landmark Conference Men’s Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week
TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University junior goalie Casey Prajzner has been honored as the Landmark Conference Men’s Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University junior goalie Casey Prajzner has been honored as the Landmark Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
Prajzner helped Moravian to a 1-0-1 week in Landmark Conference action as he posted a pair of shutouts in goal and added 11 saves in 180 minutes of action. Prajzner had seven saves in a 1-0 shutout of Goucher College, and he added four saves in a scoreless draw with Lycoming College. Prajzner, who garnered his second Landmark Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Athlete of the Week honor in the last three weeks, has recorded three straight shutouts and has not allowed a goal in his last 303:59 minutes of action.
"Congratulations to Casey Prajzner," stated Head Coach Bob Wilkinson. "He had a great week in the net with two shutouts. He is playing at a high level right now and we look forward to him continuing to do so."
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, October 16 when the team travels to Drew University for a Landmark Conference contest starting at 7:00 p.m.
