Moravian Begins Outdoor Season with One Event Win & Eight Regional Marks at Danny Curran Invitational
CHESTER, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s outdoor track & field squad won one event and posted eight All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying marks at the two-day Danny Curran Invitational hosted by Widener University Friday and Saturday as the Greyhounds began their 2025 outdoor season.

Moravian Event Winners
- Sophomore Gavin Hefferan won the 3,000-meter steeplechase with an AARTFC qualifying time of 9:30.72
Moravian Top 10 Finishers
- Junior Jerome Luckey placed fourth in the high jump at 1.93 meters (6-4)
- Freshman Owen Smith was fifth in the 400-meter hurdles with an AARTFC qualifying time of 55.76 seconds
- Sophomore Anthony Morillo placed sixth in the discus with an AARTFC qualifying and PR toss of 46.21 meters (151-7), the third-best mark in program history
- Graduate student Cole Stanchina finished eighth in the 5,000-meter run Friday evening in an AARTFC qualifying time of 14:48.48
- Junior Bryan Kerchner took eighth in the 800-meter run in an AARTFC qualifying time of 1:54.16
AARTFC Qualifiers
- Sophomore Jordan Gagner placed 12th in the 800-meter run with a AARTFC qualifying time of 1:54.86 while graduate student Casey Frank took 19th in an AARTFC qualifying time of 1:55.91
- Sophomore Nate Moore was 20th in the 5,000-meter run Friday with an AARTFC qualifying time of 15:05.89 while graduate student Josh Mangini took 21st with an AARTFC qualifying mark of 15:08.54
