Our No. 6 highlight – the women's tennis squad winning the 2026 Landmark Conference Championship at the Central Pennsylvania Tennis Center in Williamsport on Saturday, May 2 with a 4-3 victory over top seed The University of Scranton.
The Greyhounds captured the program's sixth Landmark title and 14th overall championship. This spring was the first time that Moravian won a Landmark Conference title while not being the top seed in the tournament, and the Hounds were playing in the conference championship match for the seventh straight tournament. The title put the Blue & Grey into the NCAA Division III Tournament for the fifth time in program history.
The match started with the Greyhounds getting doubles wins from the tandems of junior Sydney Shifman and freshman Natalia Smith at second double and sophomore Jenna Gower and freshman Kaelyn Balko at third doubles to take a 1-0 lead in the contest. Balko earned a win at fifth singles and Smith won at third singles to make it 3-0 before the Royals captured three singles matches to knot the score at 3-3. Shifman eventually captured the title with a victory at fourth singles in a contest that took over three hours to play.
