BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College junior Emily Lambright has been named to the 2014 Capital One Academic All-America NCAA Division III Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country Second Team.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College juniors Dillon Farrell and Emily Lambright have been named to the 2014 Capital One Academic All-District IV NCAA Division III Men’s & Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country First Teams selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.

2013-14 Matte Award
Matte Award Back at Moravian for First Time in 11 Years

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- For the 14th time in the 27-year history of the award but for the first time since the end of the 2002-03 academic year, the Matte Award will be spending the next year at Moravian. College after the Greyhounds bested rival Muhlenberg College, 10-6, this year.

TOWSON, Md. --- The Landmark Conference has recognized 267 student-athletes including 29 from Moravian College by selecting them for the 2013 Landmark Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll. The honorees were selected from all eight Landmark Conference institutions.

Women’s XC Places 11th at Regional, Tops Muhlenberg

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Moravian College women’s cross country team was hosted by Muhlenberg College in the 2013 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional meet on Saturday morning at Lehigh University’s Goodman Campus, but it felt more like a home meet as the Greyhounds topped the Mules in a Matte Award battle and finished an impressive 11th out of 52 teams in the region.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Ron Berta '68; Raymond Reimer '89; Emily Shertzer '02 and longtime coach, the late Doug Pollard made up the class of 2013 that was inducted into the Moravian College Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, November 8 in Johnston Hall. The 1995 Greyhound softball team was also be inducted tonight. In addition to the new class of Hall of Fame inductees, Dianne Shefski Harper '90 was presented with the Robert M. Herbstman Award.

TOWSON, Md. --- Six members of the Moravian College cross country teams earned Landmark All-Conference honors for their finishes at last Saturday’s conference championship races, and the Greyhounds garnered two major awards with third-year Head Coach Jesse Baumann taking home Women’s Coach of the Year accolades and junior Dillon Farrell being named the Men’s Performer of the Year for a second straight fall.
