Liam Kelly Honored as Landmark Conference Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week
TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University sophomore goalie Liam Kelly has been honored as the Landmark Conference Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University sophomore goalie Liam Kelly has been honored as the Landmark Conference Men's Lacrosse Defensive Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
Kelly recorded 15 saves, two caused turnovers and a ground ball in the Greyhounds' 11-10 win at Susquehanna University in Landmark Conference action in the squad's only action last week.
"Liam came up with some big saves this weekend," commented Head Coach Dave Carty. "He does a great job directing the defense and keeping levelheaded. He's an impact player in the net."
Moravian is to return to action on Wednesday, April 2 when the squad hosts Goucher College in a Landmark Conference contest beginning at 4:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
