Greyhounds Race Past Mount Saint Vincent
RIVERDALE, N.Y. --- The Moravian University men’s lacrosse team jumped out to a 7-0 first quarter lead on the way to a 19-6 victory at the University of Mount Saint Vincent in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon.

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds needed just 26 seconds to take the lead as senior short stick defensive midfielder Aden Moskovitz scored the opening goal. Junior midfielder Dan Kelly found the net for a 2-0 edge while sophomore attack Nick Coffaro made it 3-0 just three minutes into action. Moskovitz found the cage again before senior midfielder Aaron Judge scored to push the advantage to 5-0. Sophomore midfielder Hunter Klapmuts got onto the scoreboard while Judge added a goal to give the Blue & Grey a 7-0 lead after 15 minutes of action
- Judge began the scoring in the second quarter to make it 8-0 before the Dolphins got onto the scoreboard. Senior midfielder Nick Sullivan extended the Hounds' advantage to 9-1, and sophomore midfielder Adam Twist made it 10-1. Mount Saint Vincent added a goal to cut the Moravian edge to 10-2 at the intermission
- Judge netted his fourth goal to open the second half before Twist stretched the advantage into double figures at 12-2. Junior attack Ryan Kokoszka had a goal to make it 13-4 before the Dolphins scored twice to end the period with the Greyhounds leading 13-4 after 45 minutes of action
- Moravian added six more goals in the fourth quarter with and markers by Twist, Kelly, Judge, senior defender Jason Levy, sophomore attack Tucker Ellis and senior attack Aidan Brown

- Moravian had 15 different players record a point led by Judge, who netted five goals
- Twist recorded his first career hat trick to go with a pair of ground balls while Moskovitz added two goals, an assist, three ground balls and two caused turnovers
- Kelly had two goals while Levy registered a goal, an assist, three caused turnovers and a pair of ground balls
- Kokoszka posted a goal and an assist while Coffaro, Sullivan, Ellis, Klapmuts and Brown each scored one goal
- Graduate student attack Trevor Dzama contributed three assists while freshman midfielder Robert Celona had two assists
- Junior defender Mike Sickler had an assist and three ground balls while sophomore attack Aiden LaCorte added an assist
- Senior face-off specialist Gannon Mesko was 13-for-20 on face-offs while freshman face-off specialist Owen Deady was 3-for-8 with two ground balls
- Senior defender Austin Hittle and junior defender James Panico both scooped up three ground balls and freshmen long stick midfielder Dylan DeNaples and defender Nick Cicchetti each added two ground balls
- Sophomore goalie Liam Kelly started for the Hounds and had two saves and two ground balls in 28 minutes of action while senior goalie Thomas Lee added two saves in 17 minutes of play. Senior goalie Sean Boyer recorded two saves in eight minutes of action while freshman goalie Chris Piluso had one save in the final seven minutes of the contest
- The Hounds had a 48-21 advantage in shots, a 31-24 edge in ground balls and were 23-for-27 on clearing attempts to go with 16 face-off wins
