Greyhounds Fall at Drew

How It Happened
- The Rangers scored the first two goals of the match while sophomore attack Nick Coffaro got the Greyhounds on the scoreboard with 6:40 to go in the first period. Drew added another goal while Coffaro scored again to pull the Hounds within 3-2 with 4:43 left in the first quarter. The Rangers scored one more time to lead 4-2 after 15 minutes of play
- Moravian opened the second quarter with goals from junior attack Ryan Kokoszka and senior midfielder Aaron Judge to knot the score at 4-4 just over five minutes into the period. Drew countered with three goals to head into the intermission with a 7-4 advantage
- The Rangers ran off three more goals to stretch the edge to 10-4 before senior midfielder Dan Kelly found the net with 1:19 left in the third quarter to make it 10-5. However, Drew added two more goals to lead 12-5 after 45 minutes of action
- Coffaro netted a goal to open the scoring in the final quarter while the Rangers answered just over a minute later. Drew scored again before Judge tallied a man-down goal for the Blue & Grey. The Rangers netted the final goal of the contest
Inside the Numbers
- Moravian had five players record points in the match with Coffaro posting three goals, an assist and four ground balls
- Judge had two goals and three ground balls while Kokoszka and Kelly each contributed a goal and an assist
- Graduate student attack Trevor Dzama dished out four assists with a pair of ground balls
- Junior defender James Panico had four ground balls and two caused turnovers while senior face-off specialist Gannon Mesko won four face-offs to go with two ground balks
- Sophomore long stick midfielder Andrew Cassese scooped up three ground balls
- Sophomore goalie Liam Kelly registered 14 saves
- The Hounds were 15-for-17 on face-offs and 2-for-3 on extra-man opportunities
