Moravian Clinches Landmark Conference Tournament Berth with Victory over Lycoming
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s lacrosse squad clinched a berth in the 2025 Landmark Conference Tournament with a 25-6 victory over Lycoming College on John Makuvek Field Saturday afternoon in conference action.

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds opened the scoring just 45 seconds into the match as junior attack Ryan Kokoszka found the net. Senior short stick defensive midfielder Aden Moskovitz netted a goal down a player while senior midfielder Dan Kelly added a goal. Kokoszka scored again while freshman midfielder Robert Celona made it 5-0 with 3:18 left in the first quarter. Sophomore attack Nick Coffaro scored twice in the final 28 seconds of the period to give Moravian a 7-0 lead after 15 minutes of action
- The Warriors netted a man-up goal to begin the second quarter while senior midfielder Aaron Judge scored for the Blue & Grey. Lycoming tallied again to make it 8-2 before the Hounds netted four goals to head to the intermission with a 12-2 advantage. Sophomore midfielder Hunter Klapmuts and senior midfielder Nick Sullivan both had one goal while Kokoszka scored twice in the final 33 seconds of the half
- Coffaro began the third quarter with a goal while graduate student Trevor Dzama and Kokoszka found the net to make it 15-2 with just over 10 minutes to go in the period. The Warriors broke up the run with a goal; however, Moravian would tally five more times to lead 20-3 after 45 minutes of play. Dzama, Judge, Sullivan, Klapmuts and freshman attack Killian Irish-Donini scored during the run
- The Greyhounds out-scored Lycoming 5-3 in the fourth quarter with goals by Kelly, senior face-off specialist Gannon Mesko, junior attack Vincent Devito, sophomore attack Kyle Gann and sophomore attack Aiden LaCorte
- Moravian will be making its second straight appearance and third overall trip to the Landmark Conference Tournament

- Moravian 14 different players score a goal and a total of 16 student-athletes record a point in the victory
- Kokoszka led the squad with five goals to go with four ground balls while Coffaro posted three goals, two assists and six ground balls
- Dzama contributed two goals and five assists while Judge added two goals and three assists
- Sullivan, Kelly and Klapmuts each tallied two goals while Devito registered a goal and an assist
- Mesko had a goal, four ground balls and was 9-for-18 on face-offs while Moskovitz, Celona, Irish-Donini, Gann and LaCorte all had one goal
- Sophomore attack Jay Ashforth dished out two assists while sophomore short stick defensive midfielder Finn McGovern had one assist
- Junior defender Mike Sickler registered five ground balls and three caused turnovers while senior short stick defensive midfielder Kyle Weiss scooped up five ground balls and added two caused turnovers
- Senior defender Jason Kevy contributed four ground balls and three caused turnovers while junior defender James Panico had two ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers
- Freshman face-off specialist Owen Deady went 10-for-16 with eight ground balls while senior defender Austin Hittle added two ground balls
- Sophomore goalie Liam Kelly recorded one save and three ground balls in 45 minutes of action while senior goalie Thomas Lee had three saves in eight minutes of action. Senior Sean Boyer played the final seven minutes of the contest.
- The Blue & Grey had a 59-22 advantage in shots, a 54-30 edge in ground balls, were 19-for-34 on face-offs and 24-for-27 on clearing attempts
