Wegscheider Selected to Landmark Women’s Golf All-Conference Second Team
TOWSON, Md. --- Junior Heidi Wegscheider has been selected to the 2026 Landmark All-Conference Second Team after finishing in the top 16 at the Landmark Conference Championships this past weekend.
TOWSON, Md. --- Junior Heidi Wegscheider has been selected to the 2026 Landmark All-Conference Second Team after finishing in the top 16 at the Landmark Conference Championships this past weekend.
Wegscheider helped the Greyhounds to a seventh place finish at the 2026 Landmark Conference Championships on April 25-26 at the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort. Due to ties, the top seven individual finishers were named to the All-Conference First Team while those finishing eighth through twelfth were named to the Second Team and 13th through 15th selected as Honorable Mention.
Wegscheider finished tied for ninth of the 47 golfers with a 36-hole score of 171. Wegscheider had an 80 in the opening round Saturday with a birdie and 11 pars, and she shot a 91 in the second round with five pars. Wegscheider was on the All-Conference Second Team in 2025 with a tournament score of 172, and she made the Honorable Mention squad in 2024 after a 180 in the tournament.
“It was great to see Heidi finish her season off in strong fashion,” commented Director of Golf Noah Kandt. “She continuously worked throughout the year to strengthen her game as best she was able. She is very deserving of her All-Conference award, and I am excited to see the heights she can reach next year.”
