Six Greyhounds Honored on College Sports Communicators Women’s At-Large Academic All-District
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University graduate student Kerry Seiler, seniors Megan Felmly and Gianna Lotito, junior Maddie Snyder and sophomores Jensyn Buist and Ella Steirer have been honored on the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women’s At-Large Team for NCAA Division III schools.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University graduate student Kerry Seiler, seniors Megan Felmly and Gianna Lotito, junior Maddie Snyder and sophomores Jensyn Buist and Ella Steirer have been honored on the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team for NCAA Division III schools.
To be eligible for CSC Academic All-America® honors, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.50 grade-point average, be a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student and be a starter or significant reserve that has played in 90 percent of the team's game or started 66 percent of the team's contests this year. For golf nominees, the student-athlete must have competed in 70 percent of the team's scoring events. Sports eligible for the women's at-large program are beach volleyball, bowling, crew/rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing and water polo.
By making the All-District Team, the group is now forwarded onto the national ballot to try for CSC Academic All-America® accolades, which will be announced Tuesday, July 7. Moravian has had 56 Greyhounds named CSC Academic All-Americans®.
Seiler, who is working on her master's in occupational therapy with a 3.76 grade-point average, netted a team-high 53 goals to go with 11 assists, 53 draw controls, 36 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers in her first season with the women's lacrosse squad. Seiler earned spots on the 2026 Landmark All-Conference First Team and the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Metro Second Team as a midfielder, and she was a member of the Landmark Conference Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll.
Felmly, a health sciences and nursing major with a 3.54 grade-point average, netted one goal and added one assist for the field hockey squad last fall, and Felmly had one goal and five assists in 56 career matches with 35 starts. Felmly has been a member of the Moravian Dean's Honors List five times, Moravian's Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society, and a three-time member of the Landmark Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll. Felmly was also selected to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III National Academic Squad four times, earning Scholar of Distinction honors in 2022 as a freshman.
Lotito, a member of the women's lacrosse squad, finished her degree in biochemistry this spring with a 3.64 grade-point average. Lotito contributed six goals, an assist, 39 ground balls, 23 draw controls and 20 caused turnovers this season, and she had 27 goals, 10 assists, 92 ground balls, 31 draw controls and 44 caused turnovers in 71 career matches. Lotito was a member of the Moravian Dean's Honors List eight times, Moravian's Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society and a three-time member of the Landmark Conference Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll. She was also part of the Pre-Health Club at Moravian.
Snyder, a biology and nursing major with a 3.69 grade-point average, finished third on the field hockey team last fall with four goals and three assists in 18 matches. Snyder has recorded four goals and four assists in 55 career contests for the Greyhounds. Snyder has been a member of the Moravian Dean's Honors List six times, Moravian's Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society and a two-time member of the Landmark Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll. Snyder has been selected to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III National Academic Squad twice, and she has been active in Moravian's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Buist, a sports management major with a 3.95 grade-point average, competed in her first season with the Greyhounds' women's golf squad this season with an average of 102.84 while playing in all 19 rounds over the year. Buist has been a member of the Moravian Dean's Honors List twice and was member of the Landmark Conference Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll this year.
Steirer, a business management major with a 3.85 grade-point average, contributed 31 goals, one assist, 20 ground balls, 13 caused turnovers and four draw controls for the women's lacrosse team this spring. Steirer has played in 37 career matches with 34 starts, and she has 56 goals, four assists, 32 ground balls, 25 caused turnovers and four draw controls in her career. Steirer has been a member of the Moravian Dean's Honors List four times, and she was named to the 2026 Landmark Conference Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll.
