Moravian Clinches Top Seed in 2025 Landmark Conference Tournament with Victory at Drew
MADISON, N.J. --- The Moravian University women’s tennis squad defeated host Drew University, 5-2, in Landmark Conference action Wednesday to clinch the top seed in the 2025 Landmark Conference Tournament.

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds won two of three doubles contests to claim the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead. The duo of junior Izzy Szmodis and sophomore Leah Zolotareva recorded a 6-4 win at first doubles while sophomores Ali Bender and Sydney Shifman won by the same score at third doubles
- Bender was first off the courts in singles action with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at sixth singles to give the Blue & Grey a 2-0 lead. Zolotareva made it 3-0 with a 6-1, 6-4 triumph at first singles before the Rangers earned a point at fourth singles. Shifman clinched the match for the Hounds with a 6-4, 6-1 triumph at third singles while freshman Ali Willis had 6-2, 7-5 victory at fifth singles. Drew won the final singles match at second singles
- The Hounds, who remained undefeated in Landmark Conference action this season, have clinched their eighth straight tournament appearance, and Moravian has played in the last five conference championship matches
