Greyhounds Complete Undefeated Landmark Conference Regular Season with Sweep of Catholic
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s tennis team completed the 2025 Landmark Conference regular season with a 9-0 mark after sweeping The Catholic University of America, 7-0, in Timothy Breidegam Fieldhouse to close out the regular season Saturday.

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds swept the three doubles contests to claim the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead. The duos of junior Izzy Szmodis and sophomore Leah Zolotareva and freshmen Nicole Kalorin and Ali Willis both recorded a 6-2 wins at first and second doubles while sophomores Ali Bender and Sydney Shifman earned a 6-4 triumph at third doubles
- Zolotareva was first off the courts in singles action with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at first singles while Szmodis won 6-2, 6-3 at second singles to make it 3-0. Shifman clinched the contest with a 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (10-8) triumph at third singles before Kalorin had a 6-0, 6-4 victory at fourth singles. Willis earned a 6-2, 6-0 win at fifth singles while Bender on 8-2 at sixth singles
- The undefeated regular season for the Greyhounds in Landmark Conference play is the fifth since the conference began in 2007-08 and first since 2020-21
- The Hounds, who remained undefeated in Landmark Conference action this season, have clinched their eighth straight tournament appearance, and Moravian has played in the last five conference championship matches
