The 23rd-ranked Moravian College softball team earned its second straight win with a 3-0 victory over Penn State University-Behrend at the National Training Center Thursday evening on a day that saw the schedule changed due to rain.

The Greyhounds scored all three of their runs in the top of the sixth inning. Freshman outfielder Miranda Sergas led off the inning with a single and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt from senior outfielder Amanda Paulus. Junior first baseman Jenna Carmon followed with an RBI double before sophomore Amanda Dizinno reached on an error. Sophomore second baseman Shannen Mohr hit a two-RBI double to score Carmon and senior outfielder Maura Agnew, who had reentered the game for Dizinno.
Moravian had a 7-3 edge in hits in the game with Carmon going two-for-four.
Sophomore Alyssa Fegely improved to 2-1 in the circle for the Greyhounds, allowing just three hits while striking out a career high 11 batters. Kelsey Fuller suffered the loss for the Lions.
