Greyhound Baseball Squad Named ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award Winner
GREENSBORO, N.C. --- The American Baseball Coaches Association has announced its 2023-24 Team Academic Excellence Award, which is presented by Sports Attack, with Moravian University included in more than 470 college teams.
GREENSBORO, N.C. --- The American Baseball Coaches Association has announced its 2023-24 Team Academic Excellence Award, which is presented by Sports Attack, with Moravian University included in more than 470 college teams.
Head Coach Douglas Coe's squad had a 3.12 GPA for the year and is one of eight teams from the Landmark Conference to be honored with The Catholic University of America, Drew University, Elizabethtown College, Juniata College, Lycoming College, The University of Scranton and Wilkes University earning Team Academic Excellence with the Greyhounds. Division III had 181 schools honored.
The ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA, two-year college and high school baseball teams across the nation. Each team must have a minimum 3.00 team GPA on a 4.0 scale for the 2023-24 academic year. The ABCA recognized over 820 teams with the honor this season.
