Greyhounds Fall at Catholic in Landmark Conference Action

How It Happened
- The Cardinals opened the scoring with a three-pointer while junior guard Chad Kratzer netted the Hounds first points on a driving lay-up. Catholic controlled the opening portion of the game, leading 22-9 midway through the first half, and pushing the advantage to 15 points at 31-16 with 4:33 until the intermission. Junior forward Liam Cummiskey connected on a late three-pointer as the Greyhounds cut the deficit to 36-25 at the intermission
- Catholic maintained its double digit edge early in the second half until junior forward Marquis Ratcliff drained a three-pointer to pull the Blue & Grey within nine points at 48-39 with 11:30 remaining. Cummiskey added another three-pointer as Moravian trailed 50-42 midway through the second half. However, the Hounds would not get any closer the rest of the way
Inside the Numbers
- The Greyhounds had two players in double digits led by Cummiskey, who netted 12 points to go with three rebounds, while Kratzer finished with ten points, four boards and a pair of steals
- Junior guard Porter Kelly tossed in nine points with four rebounds while Ratcliff registered eight points, nine rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots
- Freshman forward Jametric Harris added three points as did sophomore guard Ian Gross
- Junior guard Colin Farrell and sophomore guard George Cutler each scored two points
- The Blue and Grey shot 17-for-60 from the field, 12-for-37 beyond the three-point line and 3-of-9 at the foul line
