Moravian Wins John Makuvek Cup for Tenth Consecutive Year
HELLERTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s golf squad captured the John Makuvek Cup for the tenth consecutive year this season on a tiebreaker at The Steel Club Wednesday afternoon.

How It Happened
- The Hounds registered a four-man team score 312, tying Muhlenberg College; however, the Blue & Grey won the cup on the lower fifth man score, 83 to 94
- Host DeSales University shot a 315 to round out the field
- The Bulldogs won the inaugural event in 2013, and the Mules won the cup in 2014. Since then, the Greyhounds have captured the title in every year the outing has been played
Moravian Results
- Sophomore Austin Fulton led the Greyhounds and was tied for third of the 15 golfers with a four-over par round of 76 that included five birdies and seven pars
- Freshman Zach Miller carded a 77 with four birdies and seven pars to finish fifth
- Senior Robbie McNelly registered a 79 that included one birdie and 11 pars to tie for sixth place
- Sophomore Drew Kokinda shot a season low round of 80 with 12 pars as he finished in a tie for eighth
- Sophomore Stevie Grosscup recorded an 83, which ended up being the winning score in the tiebreaker, and he had 11 pars in his round to place 11th overall
