Greyhounds Fifth after Opening Round of Golden Oaks Shootout
FLEETWOOD, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s golf team is fifth of nine teams after the first day of the Golden Oaks Shootout being hosted by Arcadia University at the Golden Oaks Golf Club.

How It Happened
- The Hounds posted a four-man opening round of 312 in the first 18 holes
- Johnson & Wales University Charlotte leads the tournament with a score of 295 in the first round while the Albright College B Team is second at 298
Moravian Results
- Freshman Zach Miller led the Hounds with a first round of 75 to sit in tied for tenth of 54 golfers. Miller carded an eagle, two birdies and eight pars in his 18 holes
- Senior Robbie McNelly carded a 77 in the opening round with five birdies and eight pars, and he is tied for 13th
- Sophomore Austin Fulton is tied for 16th with a first round of 78 that included a birdie and 12 pars
- Sophomore Stevie Grosscup carded an 82 in the opening round with a birdie and eight pars to sit in a tie for 31st
- Sophomore Drew Kokinda is tied for 41st with a first round score of 87 that included six pars
- Freshman Andrew Borneman played as an individual and he is tied for 16th with an opening round of 78 that included three birdies and nine pars
- Freshman Jonah Irvin also competed as an individual and carded an 85 with nine pars to sit in 40th overall
- Freshman Ryan Daily was Moravian's third individual as he shot a first round of 99 with two birdies and three pars and it 50th
