LONGVIEW, Texas --- The Moravian University men’s golf team sits in ninth place of 13 teams after playing 36 holes Monday in the first day of the FST Crossing Creek Invitational being hosted by LeTourneau (Texas) University at the Crossing Creek Country Club.

How It Happened
- The Hounds recorded a four-man score of 300 in the first 18 holes and 304 in the second round Monday for a 36-hole total of 604 to sit in ninth place of 13 teams
- Cal Lutheran University is in first place with a team total of 570 while host LeTourneau is second at 578
Moravian Results
- Freshman Andrew Borneman is tied for third of the 83 golfers after shooting a pair of one-over par rounds of 71 on the first day for a 36-hole total of 142. Borneman recorded seven birdies and 20 pars in his 36 holes
- Sophomore Austin Fulton sits in a tie for 30th at 152 with two rounds of 76 that included three birdies and 21 pars
- Senior Robbie McNelly is tied for 36th at 154 as he shot 77 in both rounds Monday with a birdie and 21 pars
- Freshman Zach Miller had rounds of 76 and 80 on the first day to tie for 44th at 156. Miller recorded five birdies and 18 pars
- Sophomore Drew Kokinda is 66th at 164 with rounds of 84 and 80 on Monday, and he had 17 pars
- Sophomore Stevie Grosscup is tied for 71st at 168 with a pair of 84s with a birdie and 14 pars to open the tournament.
- Freshman Jonah Irvin is 76th overall with rounds of 86 and 87 for a total of 173 as an individual, and he carded a birdies and ten pars
- Freshman Ryan Daily is also playing as an individual, and he is 79th at 177 with two birdies and six pars
