Moravian Women Set to Host Susquehanna in 2025 Landmark Conference First Round Match on April 29
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women’s lacrosse team has earned the fourth seed in the 2025 Landmark Conference Tournament and will host fifth seed Susquehanna University for a first-round match on Tuesday, April 29 beginning at 6:00 p.m. in Bethlehem.

Admission to Tuesday's match is $10 for adults and $5 for minors ages 10-17 and seniors 62 and older. Children ages nine and under are admitted free of charge, as are all Landmark Conference students, faculty and staff with their school ID. All ticketing will be done online at https://landmarkconference.org/sports/2022/4/25/championships-tickets.aspx?path=champs, and there will be no cash accepted on site.
Fourth-year Head Coach Caroline Pape has guided the Greyhounds to a 10-7 record, and she has led the program to its seventh consecutive Landmark Conference Tournament. Moravian is facing the River Hawks in the postseason for the second straight year. When the Greyhounds and Susquehanna met earlier this season, Moravian recorded a 14-9 victory in Bethlehem on March 29.
Senior attack Jackie Salvatore leads the Hounds with a school record 115 points on 41 goals and 74 assists to go with 79 draw controls, 30 ground balls and seven caused turnovers, and Salvatore has broken the Moravian and Landmark Conference career assist record, now with 199, and the Landmark Conference record in career points with 374. Senior midfielder Madi Dippel has recorded 39 goals, 12 assists, 55 draw controls, 35 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers while senior midfielder Alex Cherenson has 35 goals, 10 assists, 39 draw controls, 25 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers and sophomore attack Melissa Elefonte has posted 34 goals, 20 assists, six caused turnovers and 12 ground balls.
Freshman midfielder Ella Steirer has 25 goals, three assists, 12 caused turnovers and 12 ground balls while freshman midfielder Kathryn Hunsinger has registered 28 goals, five assists, 27 draw controls, 15 ground balls and nine caused turnovers. Junior attack Victoria Salica has contributed 11 goals, two assists and seven ground balls while sophomore midfielder Bailey Leatherman has recorded nine goals, three assists, five draw controls and ten ground balls. Sophomore midfielder Reagan Reiner has eight goals, 11 ground balls, six draw controls and five caused turnovers while junior midfielder Gianna Lotito has netted four goals to go with 12 ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Graduate student defender Keara Reilly has registered two goals, two assists, 24 ground balls, 14 draw controls and 19 caused turnovers while freshman midfielder Izzy Lotito has two goals. Freshman defender Maggie Modrovsky has a goal, an assist, 11 ground balls and eight caused turnovers while senior midfielder Isabella Ziccardi has a goal, 11 ground balls and five caused turnovers. Freshman defender Lillian Martino has one goal and four ground balls while freshman attack Cailin Filep has an assist.
Junior goalie Kayla Graef has 112 saves, 27 ground balls, five caused turnovers, a 12.25 goals-against and a 9-7 record in 769 minutes while sophomore goalie Elle Burd has posted 18 saves, seven ground balls, a 1-0 record and a 10.45 GAA in 253 minutes. Sophomore defender Maia Machado has scooped up 11 ground balls to go with five caused turnovers while freshman defender Alanna McBrearty has added ten ground balls and five caused turnovers. Senior defender Erda Nesimi has posted three caused turnovers and three ground balls. freshman defender Mia Faisetty has six ground balls. Senior defender Leah Hoskin and junior defender Grace Nelson both have two ground balls.
The top two seeds in the Landmark Conference Tournament have earned first round byes. The winner of Tuesday's first round match between the Greyhounds and River Hawks will advance to face top seed The University of Scranton in a semifinal match on Thursday, May 1 at 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday's other first round match is between third seed Juniata College and sixth seed Elizabethtown College with the winner then facing off with second seed The Catholic University of America in a semifinal on May 1. The top remaining seed will host the 2025 Landmark Conference Championship match on Saturday, May 3 to determine the conference's automatic berth to the 2025 NCAA Division III Tournament.
