TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University senior attack Jackie Salvatore and senior midfielder Madi Dippel have earned spots on the 2025 Landmark Women's Lacrosse All-Conference First Team with Salvatore being named as Offensive Player of the Year for the second straight year while senior midfielder Alex Cherenson and graduate student defender Keara Reilly were selected to the All-Conference Honorable Mention Team.
The Greyhounds finished the 2025 campaign with an 10-8 record and garnered the program's seventh straight appearance in the Landmark Conference Tournament where the fourth seeded Hounds fell to fifth seed Susquehanna University, 13-8, on Tuesday in the First Round. Moravian posted a 6-3 record in the Landmark Conference regular season.
Salvatore, who was on the Landmark All-Conference First Team and Offensive Player of the Year in 2024, on the Second Team in 2022 and 2023 while being Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year in 2022, set the school and Landmark record assists with 201 career assists, and she also set the Landmark Record in career points with 379 career points. Salvatore also contributed 83 draw controls, 32 ground balls and seven caused turnovers this year. In four seasons, Salvatore had 379 points to rank second in school history on 178 goals, which is fourth all-time, and 201 assists, which is first in program history, and she has 124 ground balls, 210 draw controls, third all-time, and 46 caused turnovers in 72 career contests.
"Jackie has had a remarkable lacrosse career," stated Head Coach Caroline Pape, who finished her fourth season. "She has started every game of her career, and smashed records, leaving an indelible legacy at Moravian. She has proven to be the ultimate team player and role model for our younger players. It is a rare player who is as selfless and humble as Jackie. To say we will miss her is an understatement. She leaves a void that will be hard to fill. I am incredibly honored to have coached her and all the other players receiving these honors."
Dippel recorded 41 goals and 12 assists for 53 points this spring, and she also contributed 56 draw controls, 38 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers. In her career, Dippel posted 180 points on 149 goals, seventh in program history, and 31 assists, and she is sixth all-time with 188 draw controls to go with 133 ground balls and 75 caused turnovers in 71 career contests.
"I am so thrilled to see Madi receive this recognition," commented Pape. "An incredibly hard worker, her contributions often came when the team needed them most and her efforts at important times helped us come from behind and win games. She dominated the stats leading the team in ground balls and caused turnovers this year. She has been a consistent threat throughout her years and a tremendous motivator, teammate, and competitor, for our team on and off the field."
Cherenson, who was on the All-Conference Second Team last spring, netted 36 goals in 2025 to go with 10 assists, 28 ground balls, 45 draw controls and 20 caused turnovers. She had 185 points with 157 goals, sixth in program history, and 28 assists to go with 110 ground balls, 146 draw controls and 55 caused turnovers in her four seasons.
"Alex was often the spark we needed at critical times," noted Pape. "She scored several game winners during her career—including four game winning goals just this year. Her contributions are evident all across the stat board and throughout her years. She powered through injury and remained a force on both ends of the field. Alex's positivity, relentlessness, and dedication have been a great impact to this program."
Reilly, who made the Landmark All-Conference Second Team the previous two seasons, contributed two goals, 25 ground balls, 19 caused turnovers and 15 draw controls this season while helping Moravian's defense allow just 11.87 goals per match. Reilly had nine goals, 136 ground balls, eighth all-time, 100 caused turnovers, second in school history, and 20 draw controls in her five seasons with the Hounds.
"Keeks was a force on defense, and I am so grateful to have had her on our team for a fifth year," said Pape. "Starting every game of her career, her role as a leader and mentor, and her positive attitude lifted the team up and kept everyone positive. She had an incredible career with over 100 caused turnovers and ground balls and stepped up on the draw and offense whenever asked. Keeks has left a lasting impact on this program and all of us in it."
