Moravian Takes Fifth in Stockton Osprey Open
GALLOWAY, N.J. --- The Moravian University women's cross country team competed in their second meet of the 2025 season with a fifth place of 16 teams at the Stockton University Osprey Open Saturday morning.

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds scored 100 points while Rowan University was first with 43 points
- Senior Tara Smurla ran a time of 23:12.89 on the 6,000-meter course to lead the Hounds with an eighth place finish out of 158 runners
- Senior Meghan Myers placed 19th in a time of 23:52.0 while freshman Kiley Amend took 24th at 24:10.82
- Junior Kierstyn Klingner was 25th in 24:22.14 while freshman Kate Veivia rounded out the Moravian top five with a 29th place finish in a time of 24:39.79
- Junior Kayla O'Neil took 35th in 25:08.29 while junior Alyssa Hockenberry was 36th at 25:08.83 and junior Alexis Hockenberry finished 39th in a time of 25:14.98
- Rounding out the Hounds' competitors were senior Tori Champagne in 44th at 25:31.19, senior Sarah Rice in 59th in a time of 26:25.57, senior Elena Bocchetti at 65th in 26:47.91, sophomore Celia Knoedler in 67th at 26:54.50, sophomore Kate Vickers at 73rd in 27:19.94, sophomore Caroline Emmerich in 89th in 28:31.12, freshman Ligia Parada Garcia in 93rd in 28:49.86, and freshman Lachlyn Timms in 113th in 31:11.27
