Moravian Cross Country Teams Ranked Regionally to Start 2025; Men Ranked 27th Nationally
NEW ORLEANS, La. --- The Moravian University men’s and women’s cross country teams are ranked in the 2025 NCAA Division III Metro Region preseason polls, and the men’s squad is nationally ranked at number 27 by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
NEW ORLEANS, La. --- The Moravian University men's and women's cross country teams are ranked in the 2025 NCAA Division III Metro Region preseason polls, and the men's squad is nationally ranked at number 27 by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
The Greyhound men, who were picked first in the Metro Region this preseason, have won the last four Landmark Conference titles and earned the program's first-ever Metro Regional title last November. Moravian went on to place 22nd at the 2024 NCAA Division III National Championships in the first appearance by a male team.
The women are ranked fourth in the Metro Region this fall. Last season, the Greyhounds were the Landmark Conference runner-up and placed fifth in the Metro Region Championships.
The Hounds are slated to begin the 2025 season on Friday, August 29 in the Lehigh University Invitational at the Goodman Campus starting with the men's 6K race at 6:00 p.m. followed by the women and 6:30 p.m.
