CHESTERTOWN, Md. --- The Moravian University men’s soccer squad shutout host Washington (Md.) College, 1-0, on the second day of action in the Athey Cup Sunday as the Greyhounds won the Athey Cup for the second time in three seasons.

How It Happened
- The squads played a scoreless first half with the Shoremen holding a 12-3 advantage in shots and 2-1 edge in corner kicks
- The Greyhounds got onto the scoreboard with the only goal of the match in the 63rd minute as sophomore forward Joey Roth put a crossing pass into the top left corner of the net from eight yards out off a cross pass from sophomore defender Owen Carey. Carey had a give-and-go pass with junior defender Max Teneza on the right side, getting to the Teneza pass just before the end line and sending a low pass through the box to Roth
Inside the Numbers
- Roth's goal was his first of the season and fifth of his career while Carey earned his first career assist
- Senior Casey Prajzner posted a career-high ten saves for his first shutout of the season and seventh of his career
