Prajzner Honored as Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Senior goalie Casey Prajzner of the Moravian University’s men’s soccer squad has been honored as the Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Senior goalie Casey Prajzner of the Moravian University's men's soccer squad has been honored as the Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week for his performance last week.
Pajzner led Moravian to a 1-0-1 week with a 0.50 goals-against average, ten saves and a shutout in 180 minutes of action. Prajzner did not face a shot in a 3-0 win over Marywood University as he recorded his fourth shutout of the season and tenth of his career to become the tenth goalie in program history to reach double digits in shutouts. He then had 10 saves in a 1-1 draw versus The Catholic University of America.
The men's soccer is set to return to action on Tuesday, October 7 in a Landmark Conference match versus Drew University beginning at 7:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
The Sodexo Student-Athlete of the Week is selected on Mondays by Moravian's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Sodexo will be giving each week's winner a free Starbucks drink at DeLight's Café.
