Moravian Races Past Kean for First Home Victory
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men’s soccer team scored three first half goals on the way to a 4-1 non-conference victory over visiting Kean (N.J.) University to give the Hounds their first win on John Makuvek Field of the 2025 season.

How It Happened
- The Greyhounds opened the scoring in the 22nd minute. Sophomore forward Enzo Petruzzelli played a ball of the end line to junior defender Max Teneza, who one touched a pass into the box where sophomore forward Joey Roth headed the ball into the net
- Moravian stretched the advantage to 2-0 five minutes later as sophomore defender Ryan Latchford headed in a corner kick by junior defender Aidan Costa
- The Blue & Grey made it 3-0 in the 36th minute as freshman forward Anthony Bice tapped a crossing pass from sophomore midfielder Logan Moore under the goalie and into the net
- The Cougars got onto the scoreboard in the first minute of the half of the second half
- Moravian finished off the scoring in the 77th minute as junior midfielder Colin Woehlcke knocked in a long free kick from Teneza to make it 4-1
Inside the Numbers
- Roth's goal was his second goal of the fall and sixth of his career while Latchford netted his first marker of the season and second of his career
- Bice registered his first career goal while Woehlcke scored his second goal of the season to give him four goals in his career
- Teneza notched a pair of assists to give him five in his career while Petruzzelli, Costa and Moore each recorded their first with Costa posting the fourth assist of his careers
- Senior goalie Casey Prajzner registered six saves in the victory
- Kean held a 17-12 advantage in shots while the Hounds had an 8-6 edge in corner kicks
