Moravian Falls Late to Lycoming in Landmark Conference First Round
BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The third seeded Moravian University men’s soccer team rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to knot to match at 2-2 before falling late to sixth seed Lycoming College, 4-2, in a Landmark Conference Tournament First Round contest on John Makuvek Field Saturday.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The third seeded Moravian University men's soccer team rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to knot to match at 2-2 before falling late to sixth seed Lycoming College, 4-2, in a Landmark Conference Tournament First Round contest on John Makuvek Field Saturday.
How It Happened
- The Warriors jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute off a goal from just outside the six-yard box on a pass from the right side on a breakaway
- Lycoming doubled its advantage to 2-0 in the 33rd minute with a header off of a corner kick
- The Greyhounds just the deficit to 2-1 five minutes later as sophomore midfielder Logan Moore played sophomore forward Colin Moyer into open space on the left side past the last defender. Moyer took a pair of touches before beating the Lycoming keeper inside the left post
- Moravian tied the contest on a penalty kick from junior midfielder Giuseppe Propato in the 59th minute
- The Warriors moved back ahead in the 84th minute with a short goal on a crossing pass towards the left post, and Lycoming added another goal in the 85th minute on a long shot from the top of the 18-yard box
- The contest began half an hour late with the Warriors having travel issues that delayed their arrival in Bethlehem
Inside the Numbers
- Moyer registered his first career goal while Propato posted his second goal of the fall and fourth of his career. Propato is 2-for-2 on penalty kicks in his career
- Moore notched his second assist of 2025
- Senior goalie Casey Prajzner recorded five goals in his final career match
- Moravian finished the contest with an 18-12 edge in shots and a 15-2 edge in corner kicks
