Senior Gary Zack Earns Landmark Conference Field Athlete of the Week
MADISON, N.J. – Senior javelin thrower Gary Zack of the Moravian College men's track & field team was named the Landmark Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week for the week of March 26th.
MADISON, N.J. – Senior javelin thrower Gary Zack of the Moravian College men's track & field team was named the Landmark Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week for the week of March 26th.
Zack opened the outdoor season with a strong effort in the javelin at the Virginia Team Swashbuckle meet. He produced a toss of 67.32 meters (220 feet, 10 inches), just two inches shy of the Moravian record and finished second at the meet. His effort is the best in NCAA Division III so far this season.
The Greyhounds track & field team return to action on Saturday, March 31st as they travel to Widener University for the Danny Curran Invitational.
