Farrell Sets School Record in 10K
PRINCETON, N.J. --- Freshman Dillon Farrell of the Moravian College outdoor track & field team set the school record in the 10,000-meter run Friday night at the Sam Howell Invitational hosted by Princeton University.
PRINCETON, N.J. --- Freshman Dillon Farrell of the Moravian College outdoor track & field team set the school record in the 10,000-meter run Friday night at the Sam Howell Invitational hosted by Princeton University.
Farrell turned in an ECAC qualifying time of 31:12.63, which is 19 seconds faster than the previous Moravian school record, placed him tenth in his heat and 31st of 52 runners in the race. Farrell's time ranks 17th on the 2012 Track & Field Results Reporting System list to qualify for the NCAA Division III National Championships. Those men ranked in the top 20 for individuals and top 16 for relays at the end of the season will compete at the national meet.
The Greyhounds will be competing in two meets on Saturday, April 7, returning to the second day of the Sam Howell Invitational and also the Muhlenberg College Invitational.
